JPMorgan ChaseFinancial Planning and Analysis - Vendor Management. Permanente. Position Summary. The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Technology Centralized Vendor Management Team (VMO) is responsible for scoping and driving the vendor management strategy and executing vendor related processes across CIB Technology.
As a member of the VMO Tooling Team we look for individuals that are passionate about solving business processes and driving process improvement and standardization as part of their daily tasks.
In this role, you will be required to pair your software development knowledge with CIB specific business and operation concepts to create everyday tooling solutions that will allow the CIB Vendor Management team to drive our vendor strategy across our space : .
Key Responsibilities. Ensuring that CIB Tech achieves the most optimal commercial and quality delivery from our vendors (Labor and Software / Hardware).
Managing and executing vendor related processes, including contracting, approvals, on-boarding, invoicing, and related reporting.
Collaborating with stakeholders, including Tech teams, Finance and Business Managers, Sourcing, SOS (Supplier Oversite Services), Global Technology, and Vendor Management teams within other Lines of Business.
Work with both the central processing and vendor relationship teams to define and breakdown requirements into logical models representing the business domain, and then convert them into physical database designs to support reporting and data governance deliverables.

Document the logic for the developed tools in technical specification documents and layman's terms user guides.. Enabling continuous process improvement across vendor management space by maturing existing processing and reporting functions, managing transitions for any new engagements, enhancing governance and controls.
Maintaining a strong control posture relative to vendor exposure and risk (both contractual and operational). Be able to identify repetitive manual tasks being performed by the team and develop more efficient automated solutions.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience. Proficiency with Database management, SQL, Visual Basics, MS Access, and SharePoint is a must.
Experience with SAP, Ariba and / or Beeline systems is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented, with ability to complete reporting & analytics accurately, timely, and in a presentable manner.
Self-motivated, going beyond immediate responsibilities, with ability to work independently as well as be a team player.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior executives, team members and peers. Ability to build relationships, obtain required information from partners at all levels, and syndicate solutions tailored to each specific stakeholder's needs.
