Participates in project planning by identifying risks and dependencies, and proposing appropriate mitigations. Implements technical solutions by coordinating and aligning with customer's business goals.
Cultivates relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to identify drivers of satisfaction and establish recovery actions to improve experience.
Leverages and / or modifies existing intellectual property (IP) as needed. Demonstrates ability to learn new technologies based on business demands and industry trends.
Supports drafting proposals and / or statement of work (SOW).
Engages others appropriately to understand and define customer requirements.
Identifies technical and business risks in programs and proposes mitigations. Assists project managers / architects in preparing for steering committee developing artifacts).
Manages their schedule and communicates to project leads. Generates and delivers Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Works with account team to ensure One Microsoft approach. Shares lessons learned with workgroup and consultant community.
Intellectual Property Management
Provides feedback on Managed IP for continuous improvement, reports IP gaps, reviews IP to be considered for harvesting and curation and ensures it is logged for consumption.
Improves Managed Standard Offerings (MSO) quality and collaborates with portfolio and solution teams of the domain by providing feedback.
As appropriate, facilitates other team members to scale the business with existing customers by articulating value propositions of strategic Microsoft products and services and developing new offerings for the domain.
Drives innovation and digital transformation. Ensures the use of existing intellectual property (IP).
Identifies certifications and readiness plans in partnership with domain Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Leads or participates in relevant technical communities, and conducts training sessions to evangelize technology and / or offerings based on availability.
Mentors team members and acts as a technical advisor for stakeholders by providing thought leadership, articulation of solutions value, and outcomes of business strategies.
Leads as example and guides team members on operational tasks, readiness, and compliance.
Required / Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of SQL Server or advanced database or advanced analytics experience
5+ years of technical expertise in an enterprise environment
Deep technical or architectural knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas preferred :
Business intelligence combining knowledge of SSIS / SSAS / SSRS / Power BI technologies with a deep understanding of data structure / data models to design, develop, and tune BI solutions and reports Advanced data analytics designing and building solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, SQL DWH, stream analytics, machine learning, R server Big Data implementation using Open Source and Non-SQL technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm, Zeppelin, Scala Software development, Hadoop Hive, Hadoop Map Reduce, Hadoop Clusters, Cosmos DBDatabase administration (preferably with SQL, including Azure SQL) performance tuning, troubleshooting, high availability / disaster recovery, security Database development (preferably with SQL, including Azure SQL) designing and building database solutions (tables / stored procedures / forms / queries / etc.)

Travel is an integral part of this position. You should be willing to travel as is demanded by the needs of our customers and our business.
Travel ranges from 25% to 75% depending on location.
