On this position, you will be an active member of the Grain Trading Team in Crop Science Finance and Reporting to Barter Head Conosur, is a key player in supporting the complete Barter operation, as main responsibilities you :
Will be in charge of the execution of the defined trading strategy, attending both the barter and the selling parts of the operation.
As an main active player on the market, will perform sells contracts with Exporters and Traders for aprox. 10 / 20M€ per year, acting both in direct conversations with those key market players and / or with Brokers, owning P&L results.
Will be the main commercial responsible in terms of operations to be cancelled with grain for the full Commercial Network and Customers, attending a total nationwide +3000 / 4000Customers and buying grain on 1MTons.
Be a key contact to Marketing teams to collaborate to adjust commercial plans to actual grain trends, market, etc.
Will be in charge of the logistics plan to Ports and its execution on a daily basis.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Grain commercial representative for a specific assigned zone, with the responsibility of origination volume and customer port / destination logistics coordination.
Be the trading contact for its assigned region or customers, also providing support to commercial networks, sales reps. and marketing teams on all Barter Contracts matters planning and pricing.
Collaborate with both exclusive and independents channels.
Negotiation for special prices and conditions on specific customers from its portfolio.
Collaboration on the design and implementation of Commercial Plans and Marketing Conditions to leverage company sales and collection process, by minimizing risks and maximizing commercial opportunities.
Responsible for All minor Crops / Grains selling on the market, by interacting with Brokers and in direct operations with Exporters, etc.
Follow up to contracted terms, signature, invoicing and collection process, etc. on 10 / 20M€ per year. Will be the owner and in charge of controlling and delivering P&L result as expected.
Owner of the logistic plan for the region and specific crops, by which 1MTons per year need to be physically received on third party ports and elevators / grain handlers.
Need to follow all defined processes on each activity, maintaining compliance as a must.
Support NPS and Customer Centricity, with follow up and improvement plans.
Key Contact for systems developments, improvements, etc. by aligning with peers and sharing knowledge.
Utilization and development of KPIs for management review, decision making and seeking opportunities, by periodic reports / presentations.
Coordinate daily estimations and follow ups with B&S / Dashboard set of reports.
New Crops Programs opportunities and development to enhance Barter coverage (i.e. cotton, peanut, etc.)
