In this role you’ll :

  • Be part of the leadership team for a department of + Frontend developers in Buenos Aires, in collaboration with teams from other production hubs across the globe.
  • Work alongside Technical Directors, Frontend Team Leads, and the Operations team to redefine the goals and strategies of the Frontend department.
  • Set technical standards and processes to improve the performance of the team.
  • Continuously assess team performance and implement strategies to promote best practices, high quality, and career development.
  • Encourage and guide the team in developing key skills and adopting new technologies.
  • Ensure that every developer on the team has the tools and opportunities to do their best possible work.
  • Requirements :

  • For this English-speaking role, we’re looking for someone with several years of experience in a technical leadership position.
  • We need someone who has already succeeded as a developer but is now willing to learn and apply leadership skills so that a new generation of developers can thrive.
  • Regardless of which languages and frameworks you’ve specialized in, you’re capable of guiding developers with diverse profiles to reach their highest potential.
  • You’re not afraid to recruit and cultivate talent that will improve the overall level of the team; in fact, that will be your goal as a leader!
  • The position involves contact with clients and stakeholders from different teams, so it builds on your ability to talk about technical matters in a clear-cut way.
  • You’re a strong communicator, confident in presenting strategies to company leadership and other discipline leads. You understand and know how to navigate the political balance between enterprise stakeholders.
  • You have solid people skills and are capable of empathizing with your colleagues and working together to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Hands-on knowledge of prevailing technical stacks is essential as we produce ever more advanced products and platforms.
