The Billing Specialist supports Ecolab divisions by researching, communicating findings and processing Billing Adjustment Requests.

All transactions must be completed in accordance with policy and SOX guidelines. The Billing Specialist often serves as a first point of contact and liaison between the Divisions, the Billing team and other Global Business Services departments to ensure issues are researched and requests are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Delivering Results

  • Develop detailed and accurate understanding of the billing transactions flowing through EBS
  • Maintain accurate working knowledge of how to properly complete billing adjustment requests
  • Review and accurately evaluate requests that are received for what action is needed and determine if according policy the request, requestor and approvals are correct
  • Recognize, track, report and resolve repetitive issues
  • Resolve order / invoice & pricing through troubleshooting and communication with appropriate resources
  • Process billing adjustment requests such that we meet or exceed Service Excellence Goals and expectations
  • Support division / function projects as needed
  • Carry out system testing as needed
  • Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain Desktop Procedures as needed
  • Understand importance of and following policy and SOX controls

  • Basic Qualifications and competencies

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and experience working within ERP’s
  • Service focused approach to work and ability to partner with internal / external contacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, experience working with highly detailed tasks
  • Positive attitude and communication style
  • History of and demonstrated ability to work well time bound deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrate data entry speed and accuracy
  • Preferred Qualifications and competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in finance, accounting, business or a related field
  • 1-2 years previous experience in customer service, finance / accounting or other order to cash related field
  • Previous analytical experience with high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous Ecolab experience
  • Detailed understanding of the order to cash process life cycle
  • Working knowledge of any of the following SAP
  • Working Knowledge basic billing transactions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • History of being proactive and solving problems early
  • Position Details :

  • Candidate must reside in Buenos Aires
  • Hours are from 8 am to 5 pm
