JOB SUMMARY The Sr Director CLS Planning & Optimization, EMEA is a key member of the Continent Strategy, Planning and Optimization team with a specific responsibility for the Continent Lodging Services (CLS) Leadership Team and Chief CLS Officer.

This position will engage with EMEA CLS Leadership teams to identify, plan and locally execute on Guest Experience, F&B, Pre-Opening, Procurement and IT project initiatives that enable successful delivery against the strategic priorities of Marriott International, the EMEA Continent and CLS organization.
Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking skills, strong team management, good collaboration and a proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
This position manages resources that support EMEA CLS Planning, Deployment and Optimization efforts. The Sr Director works closely with VP Planning, Strategy and Optimization to continue to review areas of continent priorities and application to the EMEA CLS organization.
Continent Executive Reporting (QBRs, Performance Reviews); Competitor and Market analysis, research and benchmarking; localization planning and innovation through New Products & Services Analysis.
Consistent pull-through of enterprise-wide CLS strategies within the EMEA Continent : supports CLS Leadership with project management of CLS cross-discipline EMEA and HQ initiatives, to drive results through effective planning and collaboration between CLS and the wider EMEA stakeholders (eg.
Midscale and All-Inclusive, Workforce Innovation) Communications + Change Management : manages and provides strategic support for internal communications including the CCLSO Associate Messages (mid-year, year-end) and LinkedIn profile activation, townhalls, offsites, meetings, webinars and conferences, and contributes to drive engagement within CLS Organization.
and provides key processes + tools + resources that support the EMEA CLS functions (communication platforms, MBOs / BSC process).
