As a Software Asset Management Sr. Consultant in the Vendor Management office you will be involved in the management of software acquisition, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning and costing.
Responsible for managing the ongoing relationship with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Measures vendor actual service level performance versus contractual levels.
Establishes continuous improvement processes whereby performance translates directly into corrective action plans and resulting improvements.
Partners with Procurement and very business stakeholders in the Request for Proposal, Statement of Work and Contract phases of engaging a vendor.
Complete Ahoc projects within the function.
Experience / Education
5 years of Professional experience in vendor management and / or procurement experience
Experience working with outsource providers
Strong leadership skills with experience influencing people in offsite and off shore locations
Knowledge of industry best practices in contract negotiation
Excellent communication skills, listening and negotiation skills in order to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly through various means
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
Solid contract creation, negotiation, and management skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on a continuous basis.
