Position Summary :

Performs client serving activities on projects related to relocation management. Understands global people challenges while providing quality work and delivery services to meet varying deadlines.

Listening and sharing information in order to train other staff in acquiring these skills. Demonstrate success by delivering on complex projects with vast knowledge related to our client’s relocation processes.

The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed assignment services to our mobility clients.

The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the People Advisory Services practice (PAS). The Assignment Services Analyst position is accountable for supporting assignment services engagements for clients.

The Analyst supports the team by providing end-to-end assignment case management for clients’ relocation process. The Analyst works closely with third parties, clients, and global EY offices with focus on program delivery and support of the relocation services.

The Analyst works closely with other PAS professionals to deliver a variety of assignment service engagements.

Essential Functions of the Job :

  • Provide end-to-end case management for client’s relocation process including client interaction, documentation of process status, risk identification and risk mitigation and escalation when necessary
  • Interact with clients to document status of third party relocation services, tax services, etc.
  • Analyze client policies to determine if relocation is in compliance and escalate where there are discrepancies.
  • Interact and document requests for relocation policy exceptions from assignees and resolve with the client
  • Document policy exceptions and distribute to all applicable vendors
  • Manage activities with third party relocation services by determining if services are initiated timely and fully delivered with appropriate client satisfaction
  • Identify, resolve, contact and document any issues or outstanding activities performed by third party vendors. This would be based off services agreements between the client and the third party vendor to ensure all relocation services are completed to satisfaction of the assignee and the client.
  • Keep clients updated with any outstanding information, status updates, risk and risk mitigation activities

  • Train our teams in the global delivery service center in relocation management, client policies and assignment services
  • Analytical / Decision Making Responsibilities :

  • Research assignment services projects by demonstrating technical excellence and business driven approach to solving complex challenges including ad hoc reporting to client contacts regarding their mobility programs.
  • Examples include assisting clients in benchmarking against industry standards as well as providing best practices.

    Knowledge and Skills Requirements :

  • Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn other software application
  • Excellent English language skills - both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of assignment services and the complexities around global relocations
  • Ability to analyze balance sheets, policies and assignment letters and assist in problem solving
  • Flexibility and ability to work with a globally distributed team
  • Ability to become proficient with EY developed assignment services software
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and follow up on open issues
