Andworx is seeking a Learning Management Systems (LMS) Analyst to join our team supporting a federal government client. As LMS Analyst, you will be responsible for leading analytics, data visualization, and reporting within our client Blackboard virtual learning environment.

You will serve as the go-to person on our team for all things Blackboard with regards to analytics, functionality, capabilities, limitations, and potential.

You will help shape how data analytics informs decisions on usage and satisfaction of training content and programs and build data visualizations to tell the story of impact and adoption of digital technology to client stakeholders and leadership.

As a candidate, you should be experienced with Blackboard and Blackboard analytics and place a high importance on user experience, usability, and design.

We're looking for someone who is a hands-on doer that is as comfortable building beautiful data visualizations as they are in interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements in an agile and iterative environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of professional experience with learning management systems that include Blackboard.
  • Hands-on involvement in the full life cycle of LMS team responsibilities to include analysis, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and operations.
  • Understanding of analytics capabilities of Blackboard and other LMS.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization, preferably in a federal government or health care environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with instructional designers, marketing strategists, evaluation analysts, and federal government clients / agencies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Pyramid Analytic as well as general understanding of data pipelines, data warehouses, and architectural frameworks is preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts with easy-to-understand language and graphics for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand the big picture and the small details.
  • Consistent ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment with tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data privacy and limitations of health care statistics, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree OR Associates degree plus 2 years relevant experience OR 5 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; eligibility for this clearance requires US citizenship.
  • Responsibilities

    As the LMS Analyst, you will leverage your expertise to help our client and team define and document the technical and business requirements of data-related deliverables, including reports, databases, dashboards, visualizations, systems, and workflows as they relate to their LMS.

  • Develop and deliver regular reporting tools using Blackboard functionality and other custom tools.
  • Evaluate existing tools while contributing to awareness of new tools to measure usage of and satisfaction with content and training assets.
  • Determine gaps in current Blackboard reporting functionality contributing to solutions for obtaining new and insightful data.
  • Refine reports and configurations based on feedback and technology updates, ensuring information continues to be accurate and functional.
  • Develop and deliver trainings to data analysts and support staff on Blackboard report availability and manipulation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and Blackboard LMS functionality and roadmaps and advocate for the latest best practices with the team and client.
