The position will be based in our Buenos Aires office and will focus on assisting clients with software installations and updates, data distribution and related support activities.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Math, Economics, Finance or related discipline.

Beyond the opportunity to work directly with quantitative portfolio managers and researchers or the IT teams that support them, team members will gain invaluable experience while working in a challenging yet fun work environment.

  • Assist clients with the installation, licensing and setup of Axioma's software products and risk model content
  • Prepare SQL Server databases, pre-populated with Axioma risk model data, for delivery to clients
  • Provide guidance to prospective clients regarding implementation options associated with deploying Axioma's products on client systems
  • Assist clients with setting up the daily download of Axioma's risk model content and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Manage client permissions as it relates to distribution and entitlements of STOXX index data directly, and through partner firms
  • Provide assistance to clients during software upgrades, ensuring smooth and seamless transitions to newer versions
  • Assist in the maintenance of internal installations which are used by client facing staff in supporting clients
  • Update issue tracking system in a prompt and accurate manner
  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Math, Finance, Economics or related discipline
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of Java, C++, Matlab, R, web services (Tomcat / Jetty) and Python a plus
  • Familiarity with or experience in the financial industry is desirable
  • Strong ability to solve problems, and quickly identify problem resolution for clients
