It’s about getting credit policies, processes, systems, targets and strategies in place. And it’s about making sure they are heard, understood and followed.

Along the way, our team analyzes and interprets financial status to evaluate risk and establish credit limits. They set policies and develop systems to control and monitor assets in terms of risk.

Dedicated to continuous improvement, they constantly explore ways to improve credit processes. They always find the right balance between the need for control and the drive for high productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with investigation and analysis of credit risk.
  • Escalates issues to more senior credit team members where needed.
  • Employs complex statistical analysis that quantitatively estimates the probability of a loss occurring and the probable amount of the loss.
  • Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures for investigating and evaluating new and existing customer creditworthiness and extending or revoking credit lines / limits.
  • Follow the active global credit policy
  • Monitors portfolio performance for all relationships to ascertain the viability of each source.
  • Reviews and approves / declines credit proposals within approved credit authority.
  • Contributes to the managing of delinquent accounts and addresses credit related issues.
  • Essential Requirements

    Capacity to work efficiently and effectively in fast paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Credit assessment skills and Basic knowledge of local loan and lease documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial leasing, local business law, industry, political and economic environment.
  • Good oral and written communications skills

  • Ability to drive accurate and timely decisions

  • Desirable Requirements

  • Minimum 1+years of related experience or equivalent experience.
  • English, Portuguese is a plus
