  • What You Will Do

    Manage the sales team, establishing the sales quota per sales rep in alignment with the National Sales Manager. Ensure sales targets are attained.

    Sales :

  • Ensure the MedSurg business growth executing the strategic plan and support the Commercial Director.
  • Share the sales quotas per region and Sales Representatives.
  • Establish a health relationship with the main customers supporting sales team.
  • Business Acumen understanding and spread the business goals and strategy.
  • Follow monthly sales results.
  • Prepare weekly reports for the Commercial Director with the sales funnel and forecast for the current and full-year month.
  • Ensures that all sales representatives and agents have the appropriate knowledge and skills to demonstrate our products to our customers.
  • Distributors :

  • Evaluating and recommending required commercial distributor guaranteeing compliance and integrity standards in all relationship.
  • Expense Controls :

  • Controls all expenses incurred by your direct reports and verifies that they are in line with the approved budget. Manages marketing expenses in its territory, in accordance with the approved budget.
  • Performance Management :

  • Conducts monthly meetings with sales representatives and agents to evaluate performance, objectives, verify needs, and resolve conflicts.
  • Customer Relationship :

  • Visit key customers in order to improve relationships and ensure business growth.
  • Compliance :

  • Must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with laws and regulations, including the FCPA and the Stryker Code of Conduct, in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
  • What You Will Need

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience in the health industry, preferably in the commercial area.
  • Experience leading sales teams, preferably in medical devices (Medsurg).
  • Skill with the Microsoft Office tool.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both divisional leaders and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good business acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Driven to continually build knowledge and skills.
  • Able to build trusting relationships in and outside of the organization.
