This job requires high levels of creativity and strategic thinking as you will be helping a broad range of newsrooms develop innovative social experiences and business solutions on Facebook and Instagram.
You will represent Facebook, developing external relationships at executive levels and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who can think strategically, articulate their vision yet also roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
This person will have a sophisticated knowledge of the news industry, its content strategies and business models, and the ability to devise and execute programs that add value to the goals of Facebook and our media partners.
This position is based in our Buenos Aires office and will involve travel Required Skills : 1. Establish strong partnership relations by understanding and supporting business, content and social strategies 2.
Identify strategic partners and have a clear priority vision to educate them on Facebook's platform and technology, manage its implementation and optimization 3.
Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships 4. Become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct executive relationships with Facebook's key partners 5.
Proactively resolve business and operational issues with partners 6. Collaborate with partners to develop innovative and high-impact social integrations, and drive operational management of partnership projects 7.
Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that Facebook is taking partner input into account in product and policy decisions 8.
Be an internal advocate within Facebook for partners, including with product teams 9. Build strong cross-functional relationships within Facebook, working across timezones and departments 10.
Participate in industry events including conferences, workshops and presentations Minimum Qualifications : 11. BA / BS degree with outstanding academic performance.
MBA preferred 12. 10+ years experience, including 5+ years of related product management, partner or account management experience 13.
Basic technical knowledge with deep knowledge of the Facebook Platform 14. Proven track record managing media partnerships and establishing long term relationships 15.
Knowledge of South Cone's cultural and media landscape, including TV, Radio, print and digital with existing network of relationship 16.
