We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Corporate Sales SSR

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop commercial relationship and generate sale of Global Markets products
  • Execute the business plan designed
  • Promote the sale of Global Markets products for the client portfolio covers, ensuring correct quotation of the same
  • Analyze, detect, and implement different sales alternatives among the clients under management
  • Develop and market financial products of medium and high sophistication which include structured products and financial derivatives
  • Interact with the different segment of the Bank to add value to the business relationship
  • Actively participate in all commercial initiatives with clients, such as seminars, talks, and commercial events
  • Contribute to the Bank in leading positions in the surveys, services and rankings in which it participates, both locally and internationally
  • Comply with HSBC internal policies as well as external regulations
  • Requirements

  • Degree in business, economics, or a relevant discipline
  • Solid experience managing client relationships and be able to work under a fast pace environment
  • Excellent command in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of the market and financial instruments
  • Excellent interpersonal and influential communication skills
  • Ability to manage expectations, prioritise, and work under pressure
  • Within HSBC certain roles are designated as Enhanced Vetting Roles. For these roles, all internal and external applicants are required (subject to local laws), to pass satisfactorily a series of additional checks both as part of the application process and, if successfully recruited into the role, on an ongoing basis if they remain in such a role.

    As a result, internal candidates may require enhanced approvals and vetting checks if they are currently employed in a Front / Back Office department, or if they have worked in a Front / Back Office department within the last 5 years, (please refer to the HR FIM B2.

    The enhanced approvals and vetting would need to be completed before the candidate will be confirmed in the role.
