Amazon Prime Video in Latin America is rapidly growing, and have very ambitious goals to become a leading player in the video entertainment industry and delight our customers with a great service and a broad content.

We are looking for or a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager to join the team, and help grow our business.

The role will focus on helping to develop the marketing campaigns for our key Exclusive and Original TV shows and films.

This role will span co-ordination across a wide-range of cross functional teams and helping to manage external partners which will include media, creative, production and and talent agencies.

You will be a successful marketer that delivers results and have worked within the media or entertainment industry, agency or client side.

You will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing marketing campaigns across big cross functional teams, and will feel comfortable in working with global Amazon teams to gain alignment on marketing plans and ultimately manage all aspects of the project execution.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision, has the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others and drive results.

S / he should be able to think and act strategically, develop structured marketing plans and be willing to execute hands on with a start-up type of mentality.

S / he balances creativity with analytics and agility with operational discipline. Candidates should be both idea generators and builders, with a strong sense of accountability, and a keen focus on increasing interest in Exclusive and Original TV content with measurable results.

S / he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities.

The role will have no direct reports but will need to engage and drive things across a broad set of stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and manage complete launch plans and execution of our Exclusive and Original TV show and films in LATAM
  • Develop audience testing and research
  • Lead creative process from concept ideas to testing, to deployment in coordination with creative, research and media agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Provide inspirational, creative and thought leadership on ways to reach and gain attention of target audiences.
  • Recommend full marketing approach across both Above-The-Line, Owned and Operated channels and partnerships, incl Social
  • Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from Marketing to Tech teams) to identify and prioritize needs for the Exclusive and Original shows and films
  • Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and meet committed delivery timelines.
  • Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and external audiences, including stakeholder’s management and progress reporting.
  • Manage external agencies and publishing partners as necessary for that which we cannot do internally.

  • 5+ years of relevant senior level experience in in online and / or consumer marketing.
  • Marketing experience using advertisements
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years relevant business experience in LATAM
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
  • Experience in the Media and TV industry strongly preferred, experience in digital video marketing a plus
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive).
  • A deep understanding of digital products and interactive entertainment
  • Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job
