What you'll be doing
Our main Stakeholders are the 44 Local Finance Teams, Latam BT subsidiaries located in 22 Latin-American countries.
IC Month end close activities Support intercompany process, performing the related month end closing activities timely and accurately, including journals processing and reviewing of backup documentation.
Raising issues & risks - Work to detect & escalate issues & risks and work on controls to avoid them. Also, provide input to monthly balance sheet Reviews with In-Country teams.
Controls & Internal Audit tasks Understand the control environment and work to be compliant with our ACF controls as well as attend Internal Audit requirements.
BS Accounts reconciliations after GL closing, start reconciling balance sheet accounts of the Latam entities according the region assigned.
Then, perform the follow-up of any pending items that may arise.
Manual Journals processing receive manual journals for your revision of backup documentation and then upload them in GFP System (Oracle).
Keep daily contact with In-Country Finance Teams it is vital to build a good relationship with your colleagues in Local Finance Teams and across other functions involved in the process.
Desktop Procedures updated Collaborate to ensure manuals / documentations of the processes are up to date.
Continuous Improvement participate / support projects in order to improve processes.
We'll also need to see these on your CV
Experience : 1 year of experience in accounting or accounting audit will be much appreciated.
Education : studying accounting or recently graduated of Certified Public Accountant career.
Language : Intermediate level of English. Portuguese of any level will be also appreciated
Other knowledges : Intermediate knowledge on MS Excel and Oracle system (not exclusive).
