Our Sales Engineers play a key role in transforming our customers’ and prospects’ needs into software reality. They analyze their requirements and, through a sophisticated scoping and negotiating process, make sure each project is tailored to them and can be successfully rolled out.Responsibilities
Participate in the sales process from RFI / RFP to contract negotiation and closing. Work with Sales in pricing, quota preparation, contract and SOW drafting, security Q&A, customizing demo environments, and order processing.
Respond to specific technical questions from prospects throughout the sales process.
Identify and document the solution scope and delivery time for proposals.
Coordinate scoping exercises together with sales representatives, account managers and consultants, and review the solutions offered to prospects, from both a business and technical point of view.
Participate in scoping and demonstration meetings mostly by video call but sometimes in person.
Detect functional gaps during scoping calls, document them in the form of a high-level specification, and work with the consulting team to identify a workaround, or with the product teams to define a feature enhancement.
Interact with multiple teams within the organization : Consulting, Legal, Product, Risk & Audit, Product Marketing, and C-Level.
3+ years of work experience in a technical role.
Proficiency in English.
Several years of work experience in a software company, systems integrator, or IT department with a responsibility to purchase, sell, or deploy systems.
Experience in consultative sales, product selection, business requirements gathering, or purchasing.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, or a related science, or equivalent practical experience in a technical role.
Advanced degree or certificate program with a focus on technology management.
