Position Description :

The Latin America SSG Sales Director is responsible for the management of the Solution & Sales Group (SSG) across the entire SSG portfolio including client, infrastructure, and vertical solutions for Brazil and LAS.

This is a key role intersecting sales, finance, service delivery, customer & business partners, and the three SSG groups (IDG, ISG, and ISU).

The SSG Sales Director responsibilities include revenue, profit performance, executive team communications, and management of the processes that include support of the management system cadence and governance processes for regularly scheduled business reviews.

In addition, this position is responsible for operational and financial metrics, support for Lenovo & selective business unit initiatives / designated programs, business controls & procedures (within geographies), customer satisfaction deployment & ratings, and plan administration.

The SSG Sales Director is measured on revenue, gross profit, investment budget attainment, profit contribution and penetration rate.

The Lenovo SSG business is a rapidly growing business, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for managing the SSG P&L for the LATAM geography.
  • Plan and implement the service sales plan across LATAM, in accordance with the objectives and guidelines set by the global services business unit.
  • Organizing and controlling the programs and their execution.

  • Drive sales strategies and leadership processes in conjunction with Business Unit leaders.
  • Enable ISO (core sellers) to sell close to box services, while accelerating growth on managed and vertical solutions.
  • Be an expert in the Support Services & Lifecycle space across Client and Infrastructure with regards to competitive landscape, technology & customer needs
  • Work with WW SSG senior management to identify and prioritize growth opportunities
  • Support / develop customer and channel strategies for growth initiatives. Ensure partnership with sales channels and distributors, controlling offers, rebates and incentives to stimulate sales through this route.
  • Work closely with geographies and other SSG organizations worldwide to understand priorities & turn this into plans for driving results
  • Represent Lenovo SSG interests in meetings with partners & internal colleagues
  • Position Requirements :

    Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus
  • Energetic Friendly Pleasant Outgoing Success / Result-Oriented Enthusiastic
  • 10+ years of IT technology and / or Client or Infrastructure Services experience
  • Management experience preferred, especially experience building effective teams
  • Strong executive presence & leadership skills
  • High level of communication & presentation skills
  • Strong business & financial acumen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations
  • Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally
  • Industry experience, watching our competitors and the products they are offering
  • English Proficiency level : C1 or Higher
  • Desirable Requirements :

  • ITIL Certification
  • Experience delivering services
  • Proven Professional International experience
