Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to :
Provides daily Level 2 operational and end-user support for procurement application by troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and solutions.
Additionally, tasks can be required related to Fixes, Enhancements and System Projects such as creation and / or execution of test scripts, requirements analysis with business partners, and involvement in seeking solutions for complex incidents which would include deep functional and technical analysis.
Communicates with business partner end-users to clarify service request / restoration requirements and Concerns.
Works closely with partner SAP / JDE application support teams and the Global Service Desk to ensure business and SOX compliance requirements are met, Procurement System integrity is not impaired, and that changes provide for efficient ongoing support
Performs unit testing for code and / or system configuration changes to resolve defects or new enhancements, utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
Monitors interfaces / data loads and administers security requirements.
Identifies areas for improvement through understanding of technical and business requirements.
Supports technical upgrade projects and change initiatives.
Adheres to Incident and Change Management procedures to meet application SLAs and high system reliability (e.g. utilizes Remedy tools).
Develops and maintains business and / or functional support documentation.
Maintains IP Compliance on systems and software as appropriate.
Identifies and executes initiatives to improve support function and gain efficiencies.
Assigned on tasks related to canonical mapping and / or integration troubleshooting.
Special Considerations :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent IT degree is required.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE etc.) is beneficial.
Experience with Procurement / Supply Chain Management systems or processes is beneficial.
Experience with cloud (e.g. Azure) and integration skills (e.g Dell Boomi, APIs) is beneficial.
5 years experience in Application Development or Support role is required.
