Role purpose

To execute and support IT change initiatives driven by the business To provide project and change management support during IT initiatives Responsibilities

  • Demonstratedability to influence IT solutions that support and enable business strategies
  • Ability toassemble and lead cross functional teams to implement IT solutions effectivelyand with quality
  • Buildstrong relationships with stakeholders and as a result enable the entire ITDelivery team to align business requirements with IT capabilities
  • Build andmaintain a stakeholder network in your assigned area
  • Interactand influence with different cultural backgrounds and behaviors
  • Communicatewith impact both with stakeholders as well as clients and collaborate acrossboundaries
  • Ability toeffectively communicate through verbal and written methods to multiple levelsof stakeholders
  • Ability tolisten effectively and establish rapport with business stakeholders toeffectively operate at the leadership level
  • Maintainan understanding of the IT systems and business processes within yourfunctional area and the interdependencies across other functional areas
  • Maintainan understanding of the relationships between assigned business process, peopleand technology and other Syngenta IT systems and processes
  • Engagewith business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate intoaccurate customer interfaces and experiences
  • Providebusiness process knowledge and support for clients across Syngenta
  • Lead ITsolution design and fit / gap analysis
  • Ability toapply understanding of business processes to IT technologies
  • Translatebusiness requirements into requirement specifications to enable the delivery oftechnically sustainable solutions
  • Manage thedocumentation of all IT change (including requirements, process, testing andtraining) along with the maintenance of their context in relation to theoverall enterprise business architecture
  • Ensurequality assurance through thorough test script creation, execution, businessacceptance and promotion to production environments
  • Ability totrain business users on implemented IT solutions and support in the roll-out tothe broader organization
  • ProblemSolving / Solution Design

  • Navigatethrough complex problems and environments
  • UnderstandIT integrations and business architecture
  • Ensuredefined IT solution is appropriate and fit for purpose
  • To leadthe evaluation and confirmation of technical solutions for the assigned ITchange
  • Ensurethat Master Data quality is maintained and follow Master Data processes andcontrols
  • Understandthe end to end impact, along with cross functional impact and then formulate asolution and implement using the Syngenta governance model
  • DataAnalytics and Platform Integration
  • ProjectManagement

  • Performproject management activities for projects and changes, as needed
  • Ensure ITchanges are implemented seamlessly
  • Supportchanges, projects and programs with functional and regional insights,operational experience and business process expertise
  • TechnicalDelivery and Solution Support

  • Delivertechnical changes through software configurations, database development, etc.(as able)
  • Maintainrelationships with vendors, agreeing to and tracking delivery for suggestedsolutions through approved statement of work
  • For localIT solutions and services in area of responsibility :
  • Manage theE2E scope
  • Managesrisks, issues and resolutions
  • Steerfuture improvement in cost and quality
  • Set-upeasy, consistent and clearly communicated delivery processes (Incidentmanagement and problem management)
  • Maintaingood relationships between customers and those servicing the system and encourageto work together
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sdegree in computer or IT related field or technical discipline
  • SFDC Certified
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience working in an IT environment
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience working SFDC
  • Awareness of Lean / 6 Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile methodology
  • Minimal project management and change management experience
  • AdvancedEnglish knowledge- verbal and written
  • Ability to communicateeffectively
  • Business & IS Architecture
