The Account Director develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes needs to drive revenue for the entire Genesys suite of products.
It is an extremely critical role in helping us realize our goal of providing our customers with an unequaled customer experience.
The Account Director has the unique challenge of understanding our customers’ needs and strategic objectives to uncover how Genesys can best serve them in achieving their objectives.
At the same time, must act as an influencer, connector, and coordinator to make sure that we are pulling together the right team, at the right time, and delivering the best CX in such a way that our customers come to trust and rely on Genesys even more.
Meeting and / or exceeding goals including, but not limited to, revenue, customer growth, and sales expenses.
Managing forecasts, pipelines, and predictability for revenue achievement.
Managing the entire sales life-cycle of transactions to ensure visibility into and predictability of the lead-to-close process.
Ensuring and enabling the highest levels of professionalism.
Acting as a Genesys representative to maintain positive relationships with all employees, customers, partners, and shareholders.
Providing timely and positive resolution of escalated sales-related issues.
Communicating with key customers, business partners and executives on significant issues and accomplishments.
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Genesys sales process.
Sells and promotes the sales of Genesys products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.
Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
Building a relationship with key players in their customer accounts.
Penetrating the customer account at all levels and all subsidiaries.
Becoming a trusted advisor on Genesys products / solutions to meet the needs of their customer accounts.
Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.
Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.
10 years sales management experience within technology industry.
Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.
People Management and leadership Skills.
Be a "High Energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated track record in software sales.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills : produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.
Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.
Bachelor’s degree and Post / Master / MBA in related areas.
