Functional Overview : This position manages the sales of the company's products and services in a large geographic area.
Externally, identify sales opportunities with new and existing clients for company products and services to meet an assigned regional sales quota.
Internally, conduct effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.
In the region, you may have one or more staff members as direct reports. The position requires at least five years of product sales experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
80% Manages assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives :
20% Manages and develops sales staff : (where appropriate)
Education and Work Experience Position requires a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales position, ideally in selling software in the financial services / payments industries with a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets.
A University degree in business, sales, or management is desirable, but not mandatory.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Must be fluent in the predominant languages of the assigned territory. Thorough knowledge of the company's products, software pricing practices and selling skills are critical success factors.
Must be comfortable and professional in presentation skills (both verbal and written) to C-Level executives. Must be creative in crafting sales strategies to address business challenges of our customers and convey these strategies to Euronet leadership.
