Functional Overview : This position manages the sales of the company's products and services in a large geographic area.

Externally, identify sales opportunities with new and existing clients for company products and services to meet an assigned regional sales quota.

Internally, conduct effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.

In the region, you may have one or more staff members as direct reports. The position requires at least five years of product sales experience.

General Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales / business plans to achieve 100% of assigned business objectives.
  • Commit to a strong prospecting process to maximize market penetration.
  • Pursue appropriate business development initiatives through our ESP Process.
  • Create the Euronet value proposition / business value / differentiators by leveraging our collective knowledge of our customers business.
  • Communicate regional market dynamics to product management leadership.
  • Architect and communicate internally account strategy for key accounts.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    80% Manages assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives :

  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly sales.
  • Maintains an accurate representation of open sales opportunities and status in SalesForce.com that is 3x assigned annual sales quota.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure sales in all the company's targeted products.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff's productivity.
  • Directs professional account management activities.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable software sales.
  • Perform sales activities on major accounts.
  • Navigates deals through the ESP process.
  • Liaison with Account Management and Customer Support team to ensure conformance with overall account strategy.
  • 20% Manages and develops sales staff : (where appropriate)

  • Monitors the personnel activities of staff (i.e. : hires, trains, coaches, appraises, motivates, disciplines, other as necessary, etc.).
  • Educates team members in terms of sales tactics.
  • Education and Work Experience Position requires a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales position, ideally in selling software in the financial services / payments industries with a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets.

    A University degree in business, sales, or management is desirable, but not mandatory.

    Specialized Knowledge and Skills

    Must be fluent in the predominant languages of the assigned territory. Thorough knowledge of the company's products, software pricing practices and selling skills are critical success factors.

    Must be comfortable and professional in presentation skills (both verbal and written) to C-Level executives. Must be creative in crafting sales strategies to address business challenges of our customers and convey these strategies to Euronet leadership.
