Senior Associate

Job Description & Summary

A career in Human Resources, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to make a difference at PwC by helping to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people.

You’ll help our local offices in driving the Firm’s people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual, and supporting our Firm wide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and Firm wide success in the marketplace.

Our Immigration Services team oversees all elements of immigration support for secondments, new hires and international transfers into PwC, and assists our employees traveling internationally with understanding and meeting the immigration requirements of other countries.

You’ll be assisting the team with every aspect of international mobility such as temporary permit applications, citizenship and permanent residency applications, coordinated worldwide migration, immigration audits, and mobility policies.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

  • The People Operations Team delivers transactional and strategic support across the entire human capital lifecycle. We are trusted advisors who deliver innovative and scalable human capital solutions.

    The team consists of 8 functional teams primarily based in Tampa, FL. The Third Party Labor Team manages the processes and policies for a contingent workforce by enabling the selection of resources and managing onboarding / offboarding with vendors and workers.

    Preferred skills

    Demonstrates thorough-level of ability and proven record of success in the full immigration lifecycle operating procedures, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including the following areas :

  • Resolving and escalating issues from the business, visa holders, and / or immigration attorneys providing quality feedback through issue resolution;
  • Managing and responding to email and tickets from visa holders, recruiters and Talent Consultants within agreed upon SLAs, utilizing resources (team members, knowledge documents, etc) and exhibiting judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Preparing reports and analyses for the immigration program utilizing large and complex data files, including maintenance of an immigration dashboard;
  • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently, to and / or with stakeholders and internal employees and management, including leveraging relevant technology, such as Workday, Google and other firm sponsored web-based technologies.
  • Participating and collaborating with the team on special projects, as needed
