Avature is a flexible product and building it requires using a variety of tools with an adaptable approach. DevOps Engineers are fundamental in that process, as they provide the tools and environments used throughout the development cycle.
Additionally, as a bridge between our infrastructure and development teams, they are key to enable collaboration towards common goals in our Engineering area.
For this particular position, you will specialize in deploying, configuring and maintaining the Kubernetes environment, essential to continue evolving our platform.
Your challenges and objectives :
Provide the Kubernetes environments where Avature's applications run.
Manage the deployment and configuration of those applications.
Be the referent of the Kubernetes platform.
Set up the monitoring of the whole system.
Help maintain a strong and fluent relationship between the Development and Cloud Services areas.
Take ownership of our internal and external hosting needs and ensure their security and availability.
Propose initiatives to improve our infrastructure.
Your day-to-day activities
Deploy, configure, and maintain the Kubernetes platform.
Automate Kubernetes system tools and environment deploys.
Stay up-to-date on new functionalities and ways to implement Kubernetes.
Interact with other teams to promote best practices and train them on the use of the Kubernetes platform.
Monitor Kubernetes clusters.
About you :
Expert in Kubernetes administration.
Experience working with Linux-based operating systems.
Knowledge in automation, configuration management (e.g. Puppet), monitoring, Python, Bash.
Written and oral English skills.
Experience in product-as-a-service operation is a plus.
Software development skills are a plus.
Experience with containers such as Docker and OpenShift is a plus.
