Learn about the Danaher Business System (https : / / ) which makes everything possible.The Senior Sales Manager, South Cone is responsible leading a small team and for driving the sales performance of distributors within the region.

This position is part of the LATAM sales organization and can be remote within Argentina. In this role, you will have the opportunity to : + Manage Cepheid operating expenses within budget+ Provide corporate representation and overall management of our South Cone distribution partners on a national, regional, and field level covering the territory of the countries.

  • Work with distribution partners to manage and grow Cepheid business in all healthcare markets including, but not limited to, regional and local reference laboratories, large multi-specialty clinics, women's clinics, other physician office laboratories, community healthcare clinics, college and university student health centers, long term care facilities, STD clinics, urgent care / walk-in clinics, jails and prisons, public health laboratories, hospitals and free standing emergency departments.
  • Manage forecasting, pricing, and contract negotiations.+ Operate as a liaison between distribution partners and Cepheid to define and streamline processes.
  • Organize webinars, symposia, and workshops for both distributors and customers.+ Manage and coordinate introduction of new products.
  • The essential requirements of the job include : + Minimum of 6 years of successful sales, sales management, and / or marketing experience within the healthcare industry, preferably in molecular diagnostics or microbiology, as well as a minimum of 2 years of previous distribution management in the region.

    A high acumen for revenue attainment, sales target achievement, and strategic sales planning is essential for this role.

  • Must live within Argentina+ Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent is required.
  • Master of Sciences and Business Administration (MBA) is highly appreciated.+ Must have strong management, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

    S / he must be a self-starter, intellectually agile, organized, possess and entrepreneurial spirit, and be able to capture the imagination of others to achieve their goals.

  • Leadership and ability to interact with different players inside and outside organization.+ Fluence in English and Spanish is required.
