Who you are
Candidates for this role must have :
3 years Apps DBA
Oracle Applications DBA for several clients of the company
Maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite Applications 11.5.9, 11.5.10.2, R12.1.x, R12.2.x in 24x7 Production environments (Single and Multi Node)
Backup and restore systems
Colaborate Oracle architectural reviews
Define problems & issues for resolution
Deliver Oracle database services
Deploy and maintain environments
Develop solution to client requirements
Identify / test / integrate upgrades / patches
Install Oracle patches
Install Oracle software (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c database)
Manage issues to resolution / closure
Manage Oracle database services
Monitor / maintain system performance
Monitor / tune database performance
Optimize Oracle database & applications
Perform Oracle backup and recovery
Perform routine system maintenance (Cloning)
Tools used include : Import / Export, SQL*Loader, SQL*Plus, SQL*Net, UNIX operating system procedures, Oracle Applications Manager, Oracle Applications AD Utilities, Oracle Workflow, Oracle PL / SQL, Unix, Oracle Database Administrator's Tools, Oracle Database Performance Tools
