SHE Manager Southern Cone UNILEVER We are looking for a person able to : Lead deployment of Unilever Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) management practices within the region to ensure compliance with local legal requirements and UL global standards.
Ensure that sites teams are aligned to global and regional strategy Establish objectives and review opportunities for continued success.
Lead and influence SHE strategy in order to support Business to be compliance with Occupational and Process Safety, Health and Environment standards, in accordance with Unilever and legal requirements.
Be a safety culture catalytic disseminating From Push to Pull’ concept with leadership and implementing best in class behavior tools to leadership.
Lead connection of Unilever sustainability commitments, Global vision and strategy with all Business in SOCO and support a strong and sustainable foundation for SHE Management System and cascading of Unilever Policies.
Develop digital transformation in SHE, aggregating value to future and preventable work, feasibility, and analytical data.
Empower risk perception and analytical ability to keep preventable barriers in place and shield recurrences. Be a facilitator to standardize and homogenize SHE Strategy engaging and empowering SHE Professionals, Competent Person, Technical Authorities and Line Managers.
Develop and improve SHE strategy in PDCA flow to sustain actions along the years, disseminating standards, capabilities and hard skills, in line with manufacturing excellence program.
Keep SHE Programs and Governance updated and well communicate, to cover all necessities and provide visibility and validation to SHE agenda to right areas and leaders.
And guarantee rigor, rhythm and discipline with all lagging and leading KPIs. Support leadership decisions and prioritization regarding SHE agenda.
Promote co-creation SHE toolbox to be simpler and clear in a way to accompany transformation and new business models in all areas.
Be an enabler to people engagement and empowerment in SHE, through recognition and pride in belonging to SHE. Lead SHE transformation with toolbox innovation, best practices and market benchmarking to Unilever be at the forefront and excellence in SHE Program.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES University degree Industrial Engineer or Chemical Engineer or Environmental Engineer, with a post degree / specialization for Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene.
At least 7 years experience in a global organization as a Site & Regional SHE leaders Experience implementing, maintaining, Safety & Environment managing systems (ex : ISO, OSHAS) and process safety management standard Project management experience, Advanced Level for written & Oral English Excellent Communication skills Horizontal and vertical leadership skills.
