The Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible for advancing the marketing platform vision by architecting and implementing technology capabilities in the digital marketing area that are well integrated.
As a hands-on expert in Marketing solutions- specifically Digital Asset Management solutions. the Solutions Architect will develop solution architecture and leadership for implementation of Marketing solutions in regions an across the globe across a variety of solutions with focus on Digital Asset management.
This critical role will ensure compliance to K-C security and technical standards as well as implement new digital technology that is relevant to the area.

Role will report to a Manager in IT Engineering & Applications. This role will have global and local responsibilities across regions.
While not having direct reporting from an HR perspective, the incumbent must serve as a technical lead for the developers in the Marketing space to deliver best in class scalable solutions.

Principal Responsibilities :
Architect and implement digital capabilities with varied marketing solutions with a focus on new technologies like Digital Asset Management, other marketing solutions and other integrated systems in line with the overall marketing technology platform vision
Design and direct development / Configuration / Development of Marketing solutions. Will require hands on configuration and development work.
Promote reuse of technology implementations by architecting and implementing reusable APIs / microservices, frameworks and technology abstractions.
Provide technical leadership for implementation of new technology platform / capabilities, by performing design reviews, code walkthroughs / review to ensure adherence to standards and security guidelines.
Provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms. Create technical assessments, based on criteria including cost, security, vendor fit, alignment to objectives, reliability, and scalability
Perform root-cause analysis of application related incidents and help improve the status quo through innovative solutions.
Drive improvements in engineering practices to optimize cost and quality
Maintain and evolve cultural awareness; act with global fluency. Adopt a test and learn, fail fast mindset with calculated risk taking.
Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other team members

Basic Qualifications and Experiences
A degree in computer science or engineering.
Minimum 10 years of continuous experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture
Functional background of CPG / retail business anSd experience with Marketing solutions, specifically content Management / Digital asset managementsolutions is required.
Experience architecting solutions and technically leading digital projects and / or programs with strong SDLC experience including Agile / Waterfall.
Strong facilitation, leadership, creative thinking, and collaboration skills required. Must display vision and resiliency and the ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Experience working with virtual teams across time zones
Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects, infrastructure engineers, Security engineers to identify, design, and implement highly complex, secure, end-to-end solutions
Technical and development experience :
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands on experience in the architecture, design, configurations, workflow development, code development, Configuration of third-party apps and implementation of applications for consumers adhering to non-functional requirements like security, reliability, scalability and availability standards.
Accountable for leading the overall design, including the detailed configuration that considers how to structure a segment solution based on requirements from the business, global and regional views, as well as the design of standard software configurations
Minimum of five years h ands-on expertise in configuring and managing c onfigurations for Content Management / Digital Asset Management Solutions ( Media Beacon) or similar is a must
Past third-party solution administration experience is a plus
Experience in implementing content management systems that are global and scalable
Experience in integrating platforms using API’s (SOAP / REST), MuleSoft experience a plus,
Experience with front end development (HTML5, CSS, jQuery) is a plus.
Experience integrating on-premise hosted and cloud-based SaaS solutions. AWS or Azure cloud experience is desirable.
Experience in database technologies like SQL server, Mongo DB, Oracle
Experienceusing TFS, Service Now
Experience in implementing practices like CI / CD, TDD, BDD etc. is a plus. Some DevOps implementation experience / exposure is a must
Working knowledge of Infrastructure required to support and enhance global content management systems and product information (Exposure to OS Windows 10, Windows server, Networking, LDAP, SSO (OKTA, SAML2.
0), CDN, Unix file systems, Mounting file systems from windows server to Linux server, shell scripting, Load Balancing etc, Virtualization Software (VMware), File Systems / Storage (NAS)
Delivers solution delivery blueprints including but not limited to application diagrams, physical architecture, process diagrams, systems maps, service interfaces, technical interfaces, data modeling, integration planning
Translates non-functional and functional requirement into solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model, uses the common technology platform, and achieves enterprise level security, quality of service and scale.
Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture to make sure that the solution fits within enterprise context
Learning agility to embrace new technologies, proactively conducts POC’s
Coordinates engagements with vendors as they relate to evaluation, design and delivery of technical capabilities
Contributes to the evaluation and selection of software product standards
WORKING CONDITIONS : Travel may include approximately 10% of work time.
Travel may include travel via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations, if applicable. Varying working conditions may include prolonged sitting, typing and viewing computer / laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping, walking and standing.
