To develop, coordinate and implement a strategic business plan for accounts, institutions, customers and systems of care, that will drive disease awareness, educate customers on Gene Therapy and associated patient support programs;
To educate about the access to product, and drive local appropriate patients' identification;
To be responsible for building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to obtain local customer insights and identify business opportunities for assigned brand and therapeutic area;
To collaborate with Marketing Product Specialist and Field Medical Lead to develop and execute customer centric programs aligned with the Gene Therapy Unit strategic imperatives;
To own the development, implementation and regular updates of customer plans, to achieve business goals;
To conduct regular business analyses of the local market, opportunities, customers, payers, competition, key partners, legislation, policies within the area of GT;
To develop an accurate segmentation of customers consistently with the number of patients treated / handled and the physicians' attitude to treatment;
To map the local patient access flow to provide input into contracting and local access strategies;
To monitor competitors' strategy / tactics and use information in business planning;
To develop strategy, objectives and tactics in line with the GT Unit objectives;
To conduct periodic needs assessments with key customers to tailor and communicate customer insights to GT Head product positioning with key customers;
To facilitate networking among centers to improve the unified patient journey including gene testing pathways;
To provide inputs to the cross functional team to determine solutions to improve the unified patient journey where needed at Novartis cross-functional team effort to achieve product access goals and sales goals;
To find opportunities and lead cross-functional team to implement strategies and tactics to ensure and support the unified patient journey and access to product at local level;
To support the implementation of product reimbursement strategies and work cross-function-ally internally to support the update of payers' policies related to GT of interest;
To engage with external partners to favorably influence and lead payers' policies, as is appropriate and according to compliance guidelines;
To engage with key customers to develop long-term partnerships;
To build key business relationships and discuss company products (as assigned), company programs, and customer specific tactics / programs with key partners and decision makers at assigned accounts;
To support through key partners' education about GT formulary approvals and achieve the GT prioritization if applicable in treatment protocols;
To develop advocates through customer insights, demonstrate knowledge of influence network & affiliations to further initiatives;
To facilitate the education of customers on disease state and Novartis GT products and services as needed and according to compliance guidelines Ethics and Compliance;

Has a Medical, Pharmacist Health, Scientific or similar Degree;
Has between 2 or 3 years of experience in similar roles ideally in a Gene Therapy;
Working and doing the follow up with local and regional Medical Experts or Health Practitioners;
Training Medical Experts or Health Practitioners to get more involved with our Therapy;
Looking for special projects and deals with the Medical Experts or Health Practitioners;
Used to achieve their targets in an innovative way;
Looking to achieve challenges and make things happen;
Have working knowledge of the Healthcare System and research procedures as well as the ICH guidelines, GCP and other ethical guidelines meaningful to the pharmaceutical industry;
Preferably working before in Pharma companies or with Pharma projects;
Has excellent abilities to communicate, influence, persuade and negotiate with different teams and partners;
Has high ethic and integrity skills;
Looks always for Operational Perfection;
Has the ability to seek problems and complex issues;
Has phenomenal teammate skills;
Advanced Spanish skills (written, reading and speaking);
