Mondelez International is looking for : a Temporary Section Manager at Victoria Plant.


Responsible for managing his / her team(s), equipment and facilities under his charge, in order to develop products in accordance with Quality Programs, Safety Standards, in order to minimize costs, provide adequate customer service, all within a culture of Continuous Improvement.


  • Leadership and organization :
  • Responsible for the production line to reach and exceed the objectives set in terms of efficiency, performance, compliance, volume of production, reprocessing, overweight, shrinkage, safety, quality, service and work environment.
  • Act before and after deviations. Identify, develop and implement productivities.

  • Monitor the production KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), in order to meet the established objective, identifying the root cause and developing action plans.
  • Coordinate the monthly and weekly plan co-coordinating the daily plan with the shift facilitators. It is responsible for ensuring that these plans are feasible and consistent with the allocation of resources.
  • Guarantee DVL planning considering volume fluctuations, as well as vacation planning.
  • Responsible for the fulfillment of Effective Communication between Production and Programming of Anticipated Delays and Corrective Actions in its line.
  • Identify the Training needs of the team in their charge to promote the increase of knowledge about the management of systems and processes of the operation.
  • He / She is one of the representatives of the company for all his staff, in that sense it has to be the main way of communication back and forth to them.
  • It gives solution to the problems of the line in coordination with your team and communicates to your boss the actions taken.
  • According to the criticality of the problem, you must coordinate the corrective actions with the areas involved.

  • Promotes the creation of systems that guarantee results on a continuous basis with less supervision.
  • Responsible for implementing all the steps of the Autonomous Maintenance methodology in the line.
  • Build and develop the Skill Matrix and development plan of its team, execute the DMS at the related levels and deliver the SSQCDM objectives aligned with the CBN and Hoshin plant, identify opportunities to reduce costs and define productivity projects, coordinate the productivity projects in their sector, make feedback and reports to the pillars of IL6S on the progress or need to support the work processes of each pillar.
  • Maintenance :
  • Responsible for monitoring compliance with the corrective actions raised from the root cause analysis of breakdowns. Support the preventive and corrective maintenance program, as well as coordinate the interventions in the production line.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance area the maintenance activities planned to be performed on the equipment.
  • It gives the agreement that the equipment is operative after corrective and / or preventive maintenance, as well as major maintenance.
  • Continuous Improvement :
  • Promotes and leads actions that eliminate losses, improve the results of your line or improve the ability to deliver them in the future.
  • Supports the IL6S continuous improvement management system (DPS, 5's, DMSs, Kaizen and Recognition) as well as motivate the active participation of all collaborators.
  • Actively leads with its teams the implementation and execution of continuous improvement programs, IL6S, specifically the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance.
  • Health and environmental safety :
  • Responsible for integrating the culture of safety and quality as part of the continuous improvement within the line. He is responsible for analyzing and responding to WINs through the use of problem solving tools and implementing corrective actions.
  • Responsible for leading accident investigations in their line and ensuring the execution of action plans.
  • Actively participates with the commitment of the organization in establishing, documenting, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems represented in : ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18000, HACCP & FSSC 22000 + PAS 22000, in accordance with the guidelines and corporate policies to ensure the scope of the objectives and compliance with regulations.
  • Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related fields.
  • Working Knowledge

  • 4 - 6 years strong solid experience in similar positions in multinational companies
  • TPM or Lean SixSigma implementation experience.
  • Managerial experience in manufacturing roles.
  • Intermediate english level - nice to have.
