Department Overview

The Field Service Engineering Team is responsible for the implementation of the projects, as well as the high level support for the systems in the region.

Field Engineers are the technical lead during system deployments and support the customers both locally on site and remotely.

Job Description

  • Manage and / or Perform detailed implementation of communication system solutions and services which satisfy the requirements of the customer, end users and operator;
  • Work with presales and sales groups in order to scrub the system design.Perform level 2 support procedures to customer systems under support contract;
  • Build Customer relationships; presenting technical solution to Customer, conducting negotiations with Customers, partners and suppliers and providing Customer technical consultations, advice and review as well as technical documentation as per the Contract requirements;
  • Work with the System Integration Centers in order to build and customize the communication system solutions;Provide 3rd party management for ordering, installation and integration, documentation, quality management and acceptance testing, technical change management;
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and (on-site) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), while coordinating all technical aspects of the acceptance testing;
  • Work with product groups to ensure equipment is available to meet project timescale;Prepare detailed documentation (as built) of the system solutions, handover implemented projects to support teams.

    Execute SW / HW upgrades;Attend customer meetings, status updates, project reporting etc.;Closely work with the project manager to meet and exceed all project goals.

    Basic Requirements

    Engineer in Telecommunications, Electronics or related.Knowledge of the Telecommunications environment including Wireless Technologies, WAN & LAN networking, IT systems integration, servers, databases, virtualization.

    Highly professional and self motivated;Ability to work productively and effectively with little guidance;Bilingual Spanish / English Driving license
