Job Role Responsibilities

We are looking to grow our Upstream Technical Compute team by bringing on board talented candidates with a degree in Engineering / IT or close to graduating to help design, build, and maintain the compute systems that our Geologists, Geoscientists and Engineers use to analyze reservoirs and seismic data.

We provide the best performing compute experience, enabling the Upstream to win.

  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
  • Responsible for design, installation and maintenance of our on premise and cloud Windows based high-performing client compute footprint, providing support to all major upstream sites.
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems and processes to identify improvements and updates that keep them running in optimal conditions.
  • Automate processes, virtualize the infrastructure and build monitoring into all solutions.
  • Analyze IT data to identify trends and outliers to proactively improve user experience.
  • Job Requisites

  • Experience working with Windows Client
  • Knowledge of Windows Server Services : AD, SCCM, SCOM or other monitoring tools
  • Virtualization tools (VMWare)
  • Scripting knowledge such us Python / PowerShell
  • Customer Focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Desired Skills

  • General Infrastructure knowledge in areas such as : Network, LAN Storage, etc.
  • Server Infrastructure :
  • Windows OS
  • Server Administration familiarity with iLO, DRAC, etc.
  • DB and WebServices
  • Blade / Chassis Type of server
  • Puppet, Ansible or comparable automation tools
  • Remote graphics visualization technologies
  • Splunk
