Responsible to develop, maintain and manage the opportunity development and proposal strategy to secure the commercial offer is developed and released in time, on budget and with all necessary reviews and authorizations in place.
Acts at the core of growing our solution business and drive creation of the customer proposals for configured, customized solutions and LSPs for the customers.
On ISC level accountable for harmonization as well as First of a kind proposals the First of a kind proposals, driving harmonization globally, setting standards and strategies for bid management function, investment proposals for tools and professionalization, sharing best practices and training plans.
You are responsible for
Develop and maintain the opportunity development and proposal strategy. Has full accountability for development of the proposal narrative and structure (not responsible for deal structure and solution design), working with the subject-
matter-experts and vendors to develop technical, financial, and marketing content to deliver clear, compelling proposals and presentations through the deal boards to deliver winning proposals towards the final customer.
Scope bid team resources (e.g. account managers, business developers, strategic business architects, functional experts, CS, operations, procurement, financial modelling, pricing and business modelling, proposal writing, Philips partners) and bid budget
Lead the team through the disciplined, collaborative opportunity and proposal development process, manage progress against a realistic set of metrics.
Responsible to maintain all related documents, manage the schedule, run project calls and meetings, receive internal authorizations through the deal board process and recognize signs of project risks and proactively addressing them.
Control the bid development progress and project budget, evaluates all change requests as to feasibility, costs / benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Organizes internal approvals and authorizations through the Deal boards process.
Secures timely delivery of input for the Deal Boards (e.g. management summary)
Organizes kick off sales project team, tracks resources and budget, plus mitigation of deviations
Secures timely development of all customer facing documents. Project critical path analysis and securing definition of counter measures
Secures overall business case and risk assessment in line with Philips policies and norms
Secures timely submission of the actual customer proposal and Handover of agreed offering to the program manager who will drive implementation
Transfers proposal designs to bid repository, including win / loss analysis
Drive continuous improvement on bid creation and management at a market level.
This is what we are looking for in your profile :
University degree and a Master’s Degree preferred.
5+ years’ experience working in Bids specifically that is solutions related.
3+ Experience in business development projects with emphasis on the strategic and financial analysis
Experience in creating and establishing new business models and value propositions, in respective domain
Experience in business planning (working with markets on product launches, AOP planning, business development) and analyzing stakeholder environments
Certified LEAN Advanced is a must.
