Mining / Oil & Gas Sales Specialist - Buenos Aires-(1900006F)
The Oil and Gas / Mining Business Development Sales position willfocus on developing business in the Oil, Gas and Mining related markets in Argentina for the company's engineered products and solutions bycalling on consultants, owners, EPC firms, E&C, Design Construct, andcontractors and supporting the local Victaulic distributors.
The person we hire must be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
This position is a long term, contract sales position.
Overnight travel is required approximately 50 - 70% of the time.
Qualifications (education, experience,personal attributes) :
A bachelors degree is required, preferably in a technical field such as a BE / BS / B Tech degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical or Civil Engineering.
A minimum of four years of successful sales experience within the Mining, Oil, Gas and Chemical markets to include experience developing large EPC’s, E&C, A / E’s, Design Construct, Industrial Contractors and Owner accounts.
A demonstrated knowledge of Oil, Gas and Chemical industry processes, industry standards and requirements. Understanding and appreciation of Total Installed Costs, construction schedules and risk assessment as related to industrial construction and product installation.
Familiarity with estimating, bid proposals, generation, submission, negotiations and project follow through.
Demonstrated ability to develop business from a value added perspective through generation of sales leads, presentations, and follow up.
Strong communication skills including oral presentations, written documentation and computer proficiency
Willingness to do considerable overnight travel
