The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time and on budget and within scope.
Oversee all aspects of projects and financials. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The candidate will work directly with internal and external clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes :
Leads and directs multiple projects or one large project.
Teams are generally 8 to 12 FTE Services team members and between $750k and $2m. in annual Services revenue with COE engagement, both on-site and remote delivery mode.
May include multi- country scope and working with a 3rd party.
Contracts may be fixed fee and or Time and Materials and additionally may contain reward / penalty terms .
Projects generally take between 12 to 18 months for completion and consist of 1-2 Product suite.
What You Will Need : Essential Functions
P&L responsibility for the project.
Accountable for the leadership of multiple work streams of the engagement and records detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions to establish project deliverables .
Measure project performance and monitor progress, identify and quantify variances, take corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, revenue, costs and ensures customer acceptance and develop and appraise project team member skills.
Participates in bid preparation or approval for projects of size and complexity for this job level
Experienced practitioner with high quality standard in all areas of project management.
Highly skilled practitioner able to apply and support PMI methodology, tools and processes to effectively ensure project momentum.
Promotes the use of the above with the in-house project management community.
What Will Put You Ahead?
5+ years project management experience.
10+ years of industry experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP ) certification, required.
WMS / Supply chain experience is desired.
