Job Summary :
EY is the leader in eDiscovery service offerings and operational management, and the Forensics Operations Advancement (FOA) organization is looking to continue to push the envelope.
This new and important leadership role is a foundational and pivotal pillar in the continued evolution of our organization’s journey and migration to Microsoft Azure.
This role will have a large influence on how to the team provides both business-as-usual operations and advanced operational transformation.
As part of FOA’s evolution to cloud first support model, this role will be important to adaptation on support cloud native services and telemetry.
Providing guidance, automation, training, models and procedures to better optimize how we support cloud services
As part of a This position requires a high-level of collaboration skills and the ability to work with teams of disparate background and skill sets.
The role will also have supervisory responsibilities for subordinates in the inner and cross regional.
Essential Functions of the Role :
Infrastructure Support 50%
Manage and support services, applications and integration points hosted in EY’s public hosted cloud service providers
Expertise managing / optimizing / supporting IaaS LINUX Windows
Expertise managing / supporting / optimizing PaaS
Expertise migrating on-prem VMs / VM Templates onto Azure / AWS
Assist in the optimization and supporting our Cloud strategy
Assist in developing Cloud migration plans and strategies
Training and mentoring support staff in supporting a cloud first support model
Resolve issues that arise during integration / system deployments
Providing operational support and leadership on critical business impacting outages and disruptions
Service Automation 50%
Collaborating with other FOA team members, defining opportunities to optimize our operational model
Collaborating with 3rd Party vendors, Internal Automation Leader, and Global IT teams to define new automation opportunities to stream-line current operational activities and increase our visibility into services we leverage.
Identify tools needed to monitor custom solutions put in place by Solution Architects and Implementation Engineers.
Capacity Management and capacity optimization
Analytical / Decision Making Responsibilities :
Capacity reviews and recommendations to purchase when threshold is exceeded.
Solutions Analyze solutions for problems and discuss with management and team leads
Interactions with various levels if IT and client serving teams.
Participate in and contribute to all operational documentation and procedures

Domain Knowledge :
Native Cloud Platforms (Azure / AWS)
eDiscovery and analytics application knowledge
5+ years of application support and familiarity of Service Now
Strong understanding of standard application architecture and development
Excellent knowledge of various infrastructure applications including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience in establishing and supporting automated application monitoring protocols useful but not required
Provide technical mentoring across team members

Job Requirements : Education :
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Approximately 4-10 years of experience in related technology and mid-level manager role
