Collateral Services Operations
J.P.Morgan's Collateral Services is an agency service supporting safekeeping,margin management and optimization of collateral for the securities financingmarket.
Collateral requirements arise from a variety of underlying financingtransactions including; securities lending, repurchase agreements as well assecured funding and margin requirements for derivatives activity.
Summary of Responsibilities
Theprimary responsibility of the position is to provide comprehensive support for theday to day Operations group within the Corporate Investment Bank.
Ensuretimelines and service delivery standards are continually achieved.
Riskmitigation and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
Complywith policies, procedures and controls at all times for the safety of companyand clients.
Partnershipwith multiple groups within the company such as technology, client service andother operational teams.
Identifyopportunities for process improvements and value-added initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
Stronganalytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail.
Abilityto work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment with demandingtimelines and deadlines.
Teamplayer, with experience working in matrix organizations.
Internaland external client service orientation.
Solidcommunication skills in English (written and verbal).
Capacityto work effectively with diverse styles and across cultures.
Bachelor’sdegree (or in the last year of study) from leading academic institution.
BankingIndustry Experience / risk management are a plus.
