The LATAM Benefits and compensation Lead will ensure that MuleSoft is able to attract and retain the best global talent with competitive compensation that is aligned to performance.

Candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds will be considered as long as they are highly analytical, quantitatively adept, and able to drive scalable processes.

As LATAM Benefits and compensation Lead, you will analyze data from internal and external sources, drive actionable data insights, and improve every aspect of our compensation systems.

You will work hands on with managers to understand compensation proposals (offers and internal changes) and provide relevant data and guidance.

You will also work closely with the Director of Compensation, People Partners (HRBPs), and senior executives from the business to build and operate scalable compensation processes.

What you’ll achieve : 3 months :

3 months :

  • Work directly with managers as they evaluate compensation for offers and internal changes
  • Analyze Workday data to identify process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement (and implement them)
  • Partner with HRIS Analyst to implement compensation information in Workday as well as automated compensation dashboards for managers and People Ops
  • Drive ad hoc reporting around specific compensation topics based on business needs
  • 12 months :

  • Become a key resource for managers and People Partners; build key reusable assets to enable them in compensation-related work
  • Lead analysis on reviews and updates of compensation guidance across the company
  • Work with leadership as we continue to build the global compensation infrastructure and processes
  • Analyze key trends in the business and externally to be able to proactively address compensation-related issues before they occur
  • What you’ll need to be successful :

  • This role does not require previous experience specifically in compensation; broad range of backgrounds considered
  • 2+ years in consulting, FP&A, business analytics, financial services or other highly analytical / quantitative roles
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Strong user empathy with a drive to make processes friction-free for managers (even if it means more work on you)
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand business / organizational context
  • A do whatever it takes approach with high drive for execution
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and nuance; able to derive insights and make recommendations with a holistic understanding of complex situations
