  • TheRole : * ServiceNow CMDB Lead Developer and ITOM Specialist*The Location : * Buenos Aires*The Role : * As a Lead ServiceNow CMDB Developer and ITOM Specialist, you will play an important role in maturing our CMDB and Discovery capabilities within ServiceNow.
  • You will also play a strategic role in defining the platforms direction as well as supporting its continual development and enhancement.

    You will work within a team of ServiceNow Administrators and Developers. You will also work with our team of Business Analysts, ITSM and ITAM Process Leads, and other ServiceNow consulting partners.

  • The Team : * The candidate will support the ServiceNow team in the maturation of the ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery capabilities.
  • The position requires a diverse background in CMDB implementations and management within ServiceNow. The position requires experience designing, documenting, and executing large, complex discovery plans in addition to maintaining them.

    The candidate will partner with various teams in the organization including infrastructure, security operations, Business Analysts, ITSM and ITAM process leads to strategize, plan, and execute updates both regular and transformative.

    The candidate will assist in all major project initiatives, enhancements, analysis, and day-to-day support.This role will require a flexible, agile approach to meet our changing business needs.

    The successful candidate will work within a larger team whose responsibilities include supporting business-as-usual updates, transformational initiatives, and platform health - stability activities with the goal of increasing end-user productivity across S&P globally.

    The incumbent will report to the ServiceNow Platform Lead and will be instrumental in helping us to evolve our ServiceNow offerings and provide innovative technical solutions to modernize the end-user experience.

  • Lead and expand the CMDB Data Model based on business requirements and NOW Platform best practices
  • Deep understanding of ITOM capabilities including, Network and Pattern Discovery
  • Work with ServiceNow Admins to review error logs and to devise proactive approaches to resolving issues* Driving strategies to ensure the quality - accuracy - depth - accessibility of our CMDB data which will include CMDB and ITOM Health Dashboards
  • Partnering with the larger ServiceNow development team on key initiatives
  • Ensuring the CMDB continues to underpin new and existing workflows including SAM and HAM synchronization* Providing sound - scalable development - configuration recommendations that meet business requirements
  • Driving and supporting automated processes within ServiceNow to facilitate efficient business processes
  • Working within Agile methodologies
  • Partnering with our UX team to drive improvements to the overall user-experience UI, processes, and information architecture
  • Keeping abreast with developments in the ServiceNow platform and best practices
  • Writing and evaluating technical and functional requirements*What We re Looking For : *
  • 4-6 years experience in ServiceNow CMDB configuration, development, expansion, & management
  • Hands-on Experience launching and managing discovery initiatives in both physical and cloud-based data centers
  • Experience in managing demands of a modern data center with transient cloud-based and serverless infrastructure across multiple vendors
  • Hands-on experience performing advanced configurations and development within the ServiceNow platform on a recent version
  • Demonstrable experience piloting and driving new modules and functionality
  • Deep experience using the ServiceNow Glide JavaScript libraries.Please apply with your English CV
