M+C Strategic Project Manager Job Description - CL7 Manager The M+C Strategic Marketing & Communications (M+C) Project Manager (PM) is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, results-driven project management professional to support large strategic M+C projects at Accenture to improve performance.

This project-based role is accountable to provide project management support to M+C senior leaders responsible for strategic initiatives.

The PM will work in partnership with the project sponsor to proactively maintain detailed workplans, organize and manage activities, monitor and track project status, manage issues and risks, and coordinate with team members.

The PM will be the central point of contact for the project and is responsible to ensure overall quality of the project and act as the escalation point of contact.

  • Responsibilities : + Manages large strategic projects for M+C+ Facilitate, schedule, and participate in all meetings related to each project and communicates decisions, action items, maintains project materials+ Responsible for monitoring marketing projects, engaging appropriate resources, ensuring deliverables are received on time, and escalating issues as needed to ensure initiative success+ Generates project status for project sponsor by gathering data from multiple sources and building slide decks and reports+ Manages the work of other PMs on the team+ Identifies and implements improvements based on metrics and performance management Qualifications : + Bachelor's degree required+ 5-12 years project manager experience+ 5+ years marketing experience+ PMP certification a plus Experience and Skills : + Advanced project management skills : Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling / Monitoring, and Closing projects+ Excellent written and oral communications;
  • ability to effectively communicate with leadership+ Excellent organization skills with demonstrated follow-through on goals, plans, and projects+ Produce high-quality, detailed work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team+ Proactive, results-driven, self-starter+ Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities+ Interpersonal skills including being proactive, working in a team structure, being dependable and flexible+ Ability to think both tactically and strategically+ Negotiation skills+ Stakeholder relationship management+ Systematic, disciplined, and analytic approach to problem solving+ Advanced skills in MS Office tools+ Ability to apply problem solving techniques, process improvements and familiarity with FORM methodology a plus
