The Reporting Analyst develops,analyzes and distributes ad hoc reports as requested. The Reporting Analystalso supports the various reporting tools required to access EY’s informationsystems.
As an analyst, you will be workingunder the Global Trade team. Your main responsibilities will be to gatherdata from various sources, identify trends and metrics from the data, andeffectively communicating the information to team leaders and key stakeholders.
Youwill also be expected to develop creative solutions to solve minor to complexproblems as they occur within our systems, data, and / or processes.
In this role, you will workindependently, but also collaboratively within the Global Trade team.You will work with team members across geographies and time zones, andwill be expected to exercise good business judgment, relying on guidance,coaching and input from leadership.
Assist with improving the reporting process within Global Trade
Provide training on how to leverage existing reports and tools available at EY
Provide support to any data integrity, report, or system related issues
Lead or support additional projects as assigned
Support Global Trade innovation initiatives
Independently responds to Global Trade and internal client’s ad hoc reporting requests while also being responsible for producing reoccurring reports within agreed upon deadlines
Responsible for maintaining adequate coverage of ad hoc reporting requests during business hours
To qualify, candidates must have :
0-2 years data analyst (or equivalent experience)
Strong communication (English language verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills, including development of structured arguments to influence the reader / audience
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, combined with business acumen
Time management skills and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Developed attention to detail and focus on data integrity
Ability to collect, analyze and synthesize data and information from a variety of sources
Adept at change management, and being a catalyst for process improvement initiatives
Comfort with brainstorming and considering multiple opinions and perspectives understanding multiple iterations are often required to develop an optimal end solution
Self-starter and proactive able to work within constant cycles of change and maintain positive and collaborative relationships
Willingness to contribute in a team-oriented environment and ability to work cooperatively with other teams across borders and cultures
Advanced aptitude in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel and macros
Desired : Tableau, Spotfire or PowerBI
