Job Description

ARGENTINA DEBT AND TREASURYREPORTER

Reuters is seeking a dynamic reporter to join our busy Buenos Aires bureau at a time when the country’s markets, economy and debt situation are front and center for global investors as the South American nation looks to break out of economic crisis.

We are looking for someone able to juggle between English and Spanish, with expertise and contact-building ability to break news on looming restructuring talks as well as policy plans by a new Peronist government that needs to balance reviving growth and avoiding a damaging default.

The reporter should also be able to drive ideas for analyzing key debt trends and be able to report deeply around the topic.

You should have :

Track record breaking exclusive news and reporting high-impact stories

Proven ambition independently driving a strong news file

Language skills to be able to be able to operate in Spanish and English

Technical ability to understand markets / debt and multimedia know-how, especially in graphics
