In Buenos Aires (Argentina), we are looking for an : Accounting & Reporting Manager.

Your mission :

Ensure proper and effective administrative, financial, tax and asset management, in compliance with existing fiscal and civil regulations, as well as with specific company policies and accounting principles.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Accounting : Ensure accounting records and reports are accurate, duly approved and comply with the Statutory and Company policy.
  • Supervise and co-ordinates the maintenance of general ledger and financial statement. Ensure accuracy of daily voucher and data entry performed by Accountants.

    Supervise the daily financial and accounting activities, including data input, bank deposits and accounting of receipts and disbursements.

    Coordinates and supports the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plan schedules.

  • Auditing : Perform and oversee annual audits, Interacts with the external auditors / Internal. M&S and Manufacture plant.
  • Reporting : Provide advice, support and assistance to other staff to enable their input to the preparation of budgets and plans.
  • Assist when performing economic analysis or evaluating financing and investment effectiveness. Identifies development trends and institutes corrective measures when necessary.

    Identify and carry out investigations of variances against budgets / standards. Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management.

  • Support Top Management : Contributing to decisions regarding company objectives, strategies, plans and actions, providing Top Management and ordinary Management with analyses, recommendations which supplement the various economic, operational, financial, corporate, tax, information and administrative elements in general.
  • M&S and Manufacture plant.

  • Commercial committee member : being well informed of all organization activities and market, be able to provide oversight be forward thinking and committed to meeting the overall goals of the committee, have a good working knowledge, rules and duties.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with other committee members.

  • HR management : Ensure, with the methodological and operational support of the HR department, management of its subordinates through actions that promote motivation and development, in respect of personal traits and professional skills, in order to introduce organizational conduct so as to contribute effectively to the achievement of company goals.
  • Take responsibility for : accounts payable / receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity.
  • Provide standard and ad hoc reports to contribute to decision making including special projects. M&S and Manufacture plant.
  • Implement controls and processes defined locally and at the company level, weighing the cost / benefit of it.
  • Power user of the Navision system : responsible for making configurations and training to users as well as giving support to users.
  • M&S and Manufacture plant.

  • ICS Support, collaborate, detect opportunities and improve current process aligned with global SOPs.
  • Required Experience & Competences.

  • Experience :
  • Preferred degree or vocational education in business or other relevant field
  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting management
  • Preferred experience in pharmaceutical and / or healthcare company
  • Understanding of international operations
  • Strong Team player
  • Good working understanding of accounting regulations and of normal corporate policies.
