Collateral Services Operations
J.P. Morgan's Collateral Services Operations is an agency servicesupporting safekeeping, margin management and optimization of collateral forthe securities financing market.
Collateral requirements arise from a varietyof underlying financing transactions including; securities lending, repurchase agreementsas well as secured funding and margin requirements for derivatives activity.
Summary of Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the position is to providecomprehensive support for the day to day Operations group for derivatives &other OTC banking products, within the Corporate Investment Bank.
Ensure timelines and service delivery standards are continuallyachieved.
Risk mitigation and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
Comply with policies, procedures and controls at all times for thesafety of company and clients.
Partnership with multiple groups within the company such astechnology, client service and other operational teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and value-addedinitiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changingenvironment with demanding timelines and deadlines.
Team player, with experience working in matrixorganizations.
Internal and external client service orientation.
Solid communication skills in English (written andverbal).
Capacity to work effectively with diverse styles andacross cultures.
Bachelor’s degree (or in the last year of study) fromleading academic institution.
Banking Industry Experience / risk management are a plus.
