JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

As a member of the Regional HR Solutions Latin America team, the HR Solutions Market Lead LA South (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile) will be accountable for the market delivery of HR operations, Employee Experience, Labor relations and Employee relations services and solutions.

As the lead of operations and employee experience, this role includes the responsibilities of benefits, payroll, time & attendance, leave management, production staffing (via CBS CR), local training, employee engagement and onboarding for LA South.

As the lead of ER and LR within the market, and in conjunction with applicable COEs, this role includes the responsibility of employment law fiduciary compliance and controls to include labor relations deployment, negotiation, and participation within meetings with Union representatives and associated governance, employee lifecycle activities ranging from contractual management and harmonization of terms and conditions to separation and leave management.

This role includes the responsibilities of developing and implementing strategy, coordinating, and determining team delivery for activities, communicating with and training stakeholders, and leading through peers within the relevant regional markets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Lead market HR Solutions team to provide relevant and effective consulting services to businesses and functions, and lead overall delivery of operations, employee experience, ER and LR processes for LA South.
  • Ensure valuable solutions for the complexity of businesses in the market

  • Leverage and enforce processes and technologies to support delivery of services
  • Work in close partnership with shared services (CBS) and key external vendors to deliver recurring end-to-end services and processes
  • Develop and maintain key internal / external relationships, which may include : business / functions leaders, hiring managers, business / function human resource professionals, industry contacts, employees
  • Ensure the desired business results are prioritized and the organization capabilities are operationalized (HR integrator)
  • Provides thought leadership in recommending solutions that build on business and functional strategic drivers
  • Articulate market / country-specific requirements and resources to effectively help BRMs and GHRS leadership understand and address challenges and priorities
  • Work with Regional Lead to develop strategy for the effective delivery and coordination of Employee Experience, Employee Relations and HR Operations activities for region and the implementation of such solution in potential new locations
  • Interface with COEs, demand management and global enterprise / function teams for effective resource planning and stakeholder feedback.
  • Responsible for local budgets, HR solutions efficiency & effectiveness metrics, and local SLAs (costs and ROIs of solutions delivered)
  • Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting.
  • You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

  • Actively sponsor and participate in initiatives to drive and accelerate both the DEI agenda and the Employer Branding.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience and five years of supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills - ability to thrive as part of a regional and global team
  • Experience anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, effectiveness, quality, cost and productivity
  • Advanced experience positively influencing and collaborating while engaging the full scope of their teams
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen. In-depth knowledge of multiple businesses, functions, and processes as well as solid knowledge of business and functional issues, and proven track record to positively impact business results.
  • Proven record of implementation and optimization of processes and metrics
  • Demonstrated understanding of evolving HR landscape and demonstrated capability of leading organizational change efforts (mostly through influence rather than authority)
  • Capability to innovate and integrate HR practice around critical business issues, and align people, process and structure to support these innovations
  • Competence in connecting people to each other and the business strategy, leveraging technology and processes where appropriate.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
