The opportunity

We are looking for Senior Consultants with expertise in Project Management Operations to join the WFA team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading management consulting firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of the Workforce Advisory team.

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver on the project management capability within the business and develop strong relations with global practices
  • Achieve metrics on productivity and utilization related to the PMO role
  • Ensure quality of all work outputs, timeliness as per the project requirement
  • Manage project timelines, sense engagement risks and ensure effective planning for high operational efficiency
  • Manage project reporting, reviews and steering meetings with stakeholders
  • Drive effective client communications, cadence and build relations with clients as well as with project counterparts across global locations
  • Support WFA leadership in developing / growing the project management capability within WFA
  • Support development of thought leadership collaterals, PMO tools & accelerators -MS Project, MS Excel & Gantt Chart-, methodologies, to enhance project management team and support EY initiatives within the practice
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the project management areas for continuous learning and growth as a strong PMO practitioner
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in project management activities in a transformation program - preferably a technology implementation project
  • Knowledge in project management tools Microsoft Projects, MS Excel, MS Planner, Gantt Charts and SharePoint site
  • Experience in change management in large scale transformation projects and project governance
  • Experience in project management in a consulting environment, working with global clients
  • Knowledge of RAID, RACI and other project management metrics
  • Project Management Professional Certification is preferred
  • High integrity and commitment to work in a new and challenging environment
  • Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Open to travel for client projects that are approved as per EY and country specific travel advisory guidelines
  • To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in the PMO role
  • Post graduate degree or equivalent with a specialization in Human Resources
  • Advance knowledge in project planning, project governance and end to end project management activities
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Proficiency and commitment to work in a new and challenging environment
  • Entrepreneurial instinct, proactiveness and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Experience in handling complex and multidimensional projects
  • Experience in advising clients and strong presentation skills
