The Work You’ll Do

The Human Resource Associate provides HR services and operational support to the Managers and Employees of the assigned site.

The role handles all aspects of the employee life cycle from onboarding to departure as well as supporting the daily employee relations, benefits, and payroll needs of employees.

More specifically, you will :

Act as primary point of contact for employees in the local office on various cultural, benefits, payroll, and other HR process / programs questions

Conduct exit interviews and identify trends and possible remedial actions

Support local site recruiting efforts externally and coordinate all internal promotional processes

Administer Leaves of Absence processes with employees

Manage and support internal communications

Promote and coordinate the CLOUD rotation program for the local office

Support and implement various Human Resource practices and processes

Maintain employee files and paperwork both electronically and physically

Coordinate company events for the local office

Assist with contractors and temporary employee’s contracts and background checks.

What We Need From You

Bachelor’s in Business, Human Resources, or related field

1+ years’ experience in human resources or similar work preferred

Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels of employees including leadership level of organization

Very strong interpersonal and written communication skills ability to initiate and engage in conversations about difficult or sensitive topics

Ability to manage multiple priorities (at times conflicting), remain focused under pressure and work extended hours as required

Minimal travel required to Sovos locations and events

Essential Job Functions :

Utilize technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
