Job Description

The RPA Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for Integrating business, information, and technology architecture to create infrastructure for the Robotics Process Automation.

This role is viewed as an expert in complex application environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise.

Leads in developing scalable, innovative, cloud-based, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructure for highly complex strategic and operating virtual workforce (RPA).

Key Accountabilities :

This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress in your career, these responsibilities include some of the following :

  • Translates non-functional requirements into an optimum Infrastructure Design for the RPA, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment, uses the common technology platform, and achieves enterprise level security, quality of service and scale.
  • Leads Infrastructure Capacity Planning based on RPA Pipeline.
  • Design & maintain best-in-class infrastructure for RPA Execution. Accountable for uninterrupted BOT Schedules & Runs.
  • Manage, orchestrate and control the virtual workforce as part of the operational environment. Focus on continuously improving robotic operational performance and resource allocation, by exploiting the advanced reporting and analytical tools within the Robotic Process Automation solution, or framework tools such as RPASupervisor.
  • Periodically audits the RPA folders and reports any violations to best practice. Monitor the studios / control rooms in Blue Prism from an auditor perspective to see if there are any violations in folder structure, naming conventions.
  • Key Qualifications and Experience

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of continuous experience in infrastructure management.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a BOT Controller in the RPA Space.
  • Good knowledge of network protocols, network administration and network security.
  • Good knowledge of security as it relates to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and DevOps approach.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices
  • Experience with RPA Technologies (BluePrism, AutomationAnywhere)
