The Commercial Finance Operations quote incubation Deal Support Team exists to deliver an efficient, centralized and best-in-class support for unique business motions that are challenging due to technical limitations of our supporting quoting systems.
The team is responsible for supporting the field sales teams and commercial audience for navigating the deal processing cycle.
This includes quote review and required changes and inclusion of additional requirements.
Major areas of responsibility are :
Provide support to non-standard quoting processes for new business models not fully supported via internal standard quoting process / system.
Act as point of contact (POC) expert for incubation deal motions. Ensure Delegation of Authority is accurately followed.
Continual Monitoring of Deal Pipeline (ADRM) and Cloud reporting to identify customer / deals in current quarter.
Responsible for connecting upstream process for accurate downstream incubation nonstandard processes.
Improve productivity and efficiency of commercial transactional processes, resulting in less revenue at risk and less bottlenecks during peak times.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Work closely with Subject Matter Expert teams (Pricing, Revenue Recognition, Contracts / Legal) to ensure deal compliance and structure.
Cross board area engagement (Customer Success / Provisioning / Order in Invoice).
Provide guidance on the deal approval process to help accelerate the transactional processing cycle. Proficient knowledge of SAP reporting tools including ADRM / Cloud reporting and various dashboards.
Liaison with various organizations to ensure successful deal closing.
Ensure Quarter end close safeguarding.
Hands on leadership and Agile working mindset.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University Degree Level or Higher, Comparable Experience or Advanced Student on a Financial or Law field.
Previous Commercial / Finance Operations and / or Transactional Processing experience is preferred Sales Operational experience beneficial.
Fluent in English
Strong team player experienced in working with virtual and international teams Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
Project Orientated and Focused
Ability to communicate complex ideas to commercial audience. Familiarity with SAP Products / solutions.
Creative / ability to work on own initiative
Proficient in German or French is an advantage
