Better requires process discipline and simplification We’ll be looking to you to respond to work requests regarding installation, setting up and / or maintenance of client software and the deployment of new technology releases, performing new PC installations, troubleshooting and software support.
The key of the role is to participate in the planning of improvement actions for the infrastructure. For this, you’ll be in charge of operating system and application updates, executing configuration changes in operating systems and applications according to corporate guidelines and ITIL best practices.
Also, you’ll document all the configuration changes and keep the documentation of the platforms up to date, including the inventory of computer resources.
You’ll contribute to the maintenance and management of the production and low environments. Regarding to servers, you’ll be responsible for monitoring platform and server uptime and performance in order to keep them aligned to corporate defined SLAs, and controlling script files lifecycle.
You’ll be in charge of different projects. You’ll be aligned with the deadlines, standards of the organization, implementation and correct transition for the operation.
An important part of your work will be devoted to coordinating actions with different internal providers that provide services to Western Union.
In addition, you will be participating in CI / CD pipelines implementation projects. For such a detail-driven role, you will have 2-4 years of IT experience.
You will have obtained your bachelor’s degree or be a student in Computer Science or related field. You’ll have to be proactive, team-oriented and you’ll need analytical skills, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
You will have to be experienced in working in teams aligned to Devops Culture processes. You’ll have to know about these systems : Container Engines : Docker / Podman, Container Orchestration, Kubernetes Administration : Rancher / Docker EE / OpenShift, Red Hat Linux, Scripting (preferably Python).
You’ll need intermediate English language skills.
